SP 3.6m x 100mm x 38mm Creosoted Rail

The 100mm x 38mm rail is treated with creosote, a liquid wood preservative made from coal tar. Creosote provides the timber with protection from rot, decay and insect infestations, giving it a 40 year desired service life. Due to the type of preservative, this is only suitable for exterior applications that are away from regular contact. Mostly used in the agriculture sector. For further information regarding creosote treatment, click here. PPE must be worn when handling creosoted products due to it being a substance that can react or burn the skin on contact. Wear gloves and long sleeved tops to reduce chances of skin contact, and avoid touching other surfaces until cleaned.

100mm wide by 38mm deep.
Creosote treated.
40 year desired service life.
